Young Innovators under 35 Italia 2014 – MIT Technology Review

Alberto Ferrari of mHealth Technologies was selected as one of the top 10 innovators of 2014 by the “Young Innovators under 35 Italy” initiative, promoted by the magazine MIT Technology Review.
“Young Innovators under 35 Italy” is the Italian branch of the international award given by the American magazine MIT Technology Review. It promotes technologies and best research projects by selecting the best ideas in the field of applied research from young scientists. The award also aims to give visibility to the most promising Italian research that can lead to the  creation of high-tech startups.

Alberto Ferrari was selected in relation to the Gait Tutor system, a tool of enormous interest in the biomedical field.

The award was presented on May 12 2014, at the Alma Graduate School of the University of Bologna. Alessandro Ovi, MIT Publisher and Editor of MIT Technology Review Italy, was the master of ceremonies of the event. Former EU President Romano Prodi handed the prestigious award to Alberto Ferrari.
