1st PLACE – Wired Audi Innovation Award

Alberto Ferrari of mHealth Technologies has won the “Wired Audi Innovators Award” dedicated to Italian innovators.

The Wired Audi Innovation Award has the clear objective to find people and business models that can change Italy. Each month the network of Wired magazine examined dozens of innovators under 35 and innovative companies. From this research the names of 10 innovators and 10 companies emerged, whose stories were in a special issue (December 2014).
In the end, two winners were selected among 200 participants.

Alberto Ferrari won the under 35 award, while Eos won the award for innovative companies.
Alberto Ferrari was awarded for the Gait Tutor system, a new mHT product.

The award ceremony was held at the impressive Audi City Lab of Via Montenapoleone, Milan.

1st Place and Audience Award – Mobile Health & AAL Challenge

The Mobile Health & AAL (Ambient Assisted Living) App Challenge was held during the MobileMed 2014 (International Conference on Mobile and Information Technologies in Medicine, Prague, November 2014). The aim of the challenge was to engage researchers, mHealth startups, and entrepreneurs in developing smartphone apps in the field of Ambient Assisted Technology and applications for mobile Health.

Alberto Ferrari won the first prize – gold award ($ 1,500), in relation to the Gait Tutor app.
Alberto Ferrari also won the Audience Award ($ 1000), a special award voted by the event participants.
